Experience

Under NDA — Senior Engineer (Jan 2025 - Present)

Hands-on engineer for an early-stage startup. Designed and built the core product catalog system: a distributed web scraping pipeline (Python, asyncio) and a semantic search engine built from scratch using vector embeddings (AWS Bedrock, Qdrant) for automatic product identification and matching. Architected the backend API layer in Go with event-driven processing and concurrent pipelines. The platform handles hundreds of transactions/day with high reliability and sub-second latency.

file.dentist — Founder (2024 - Present)

Designed and built a full-stack SaaS platform for dental professionals from scratch. Go monolith with CQRS pattern running on AWS App Runner, backed by Aurora DSQL, AWS's distributed PostgreSQL-compatible database. Features include secure file sharing for 3D dental scans (STL/PLY), digital prescriptions with structured workflows, real-time messaging between dentists and dental labs, and a custom Blender plugin for 3D scan processing. Vue.js 3 frontend with Composition API. Full ownership: product design, architecture, backend, frontend, infrastructure, deployment, and marketing.

Regular Vision — Co-founder & Technical Lead (Jun 2023 - Present)

Built an AI-powered real-time communication analysis platform from scratch. Designed and implemented the full backend: ingestion pipelines for email, chat, and ticket data, NLP processing layer, and a real-time analytics engine serving insights to product managers and marketing teams. Streaming data pipelines for real-time processing with backpressure handling, ML model integration for sentiment and impact analysis. Stack: Go, Python, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge. Took the system from POC to production in 6 months as the primary hands-on engineer.

Macai — Co-founder & CPTO (Nov 2021 - May 2023)

Co-founded and led the technology organization (30 people) for a quick commerce startup, managing three verticals: Product, AI, and Engineering. Designed 6 full-stack applications communicating via an event-driven serverless architecture (Go, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS). Implemented CQRS with event sourcing for order processing, handling 2,500+ orders/month with sub-200ms p99 latency. In 18 months the company grew to 70 employees, 150 drivers, and €7M ARR. Invited speaker at AWS Summit 2022.

brumbrum — Founding Engineer (Feb 2016 - Nov 2021)

First engineering hire (employee #3). Designed and built the entire technology stack from scratch, shipping the first production system in 9 months. Architected a high-throughput microservices platform: 120 microservices running on Docker/ECS across 23 spot instances, serving 10M+ requests/day with peaks of 50k req/min. Infrastructure costs under €100k/year. Built all CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation with Ansible, monitoring and alerting systems. Invited speaker at AWS Summit 2021. The company was acquired for €80M in 2022.

Gruppo Cegalin — Software Developer (Oct 2014 - Feb 2016)

Solo developer for a hospitality facility management group (600+ hotels, 3,000+ employees). Developed a cross-platform mobile app for real-time activity tracking, a custom Linux distribution deployed on bare-metal hardware with embedded web interface for shift management, and real-time dashboards with automated reporting. Full ownership: requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance. Zero-to-production as sole engineer.
